One Year Ago Today

Then there is this 10% grade with the series of 30 mph curves. Its short in distance but the warning sign of the 25 mph right angle curve is there. What we actually had is a single lane bridge and then the curve at the bottom of the hill. Second gear all the way and it was done. We are in the town of Mexican Hat, UT. We do have the western edition of the highway downgrades to guide us as to what roads to not take. UT12 is one we will avoid with its long 10% grades.
We pulled out of the park in Benbrook and headed out for our 06 travels. As of today one year later we had 19,205 visitors to our blog. There has been a daily count as low as 42 and a high of 64. The count when I began this post was 19,214. Thanks for all your visits. Now we will see how high the count will go.
It rained all night and kept me awake for most of it. This morning its 41 with a 30% chance of more rain. With the cloudy skies I'd say we will get our 100% of the 30%. With the rain we will not be moving the rv very far and may not get to do any sightseeing. We want to go to Arches NP to see the arches, but, there is a little hiking involved to see some of them. And there is the problem of parking the rv for the next night.
We did see Arches NP today and will be posting these pics tomorrow or the next time we have an uplink.
We are moving to Green River, UT in the morning and see if we can find a place to stay for several days. If not there then look for the next post as to where we are.
