The Golf and the New RV Park

First the golf-
A nice 9 hole course with lots of water and sand. Playing the back tees, the first shot is over a corner of the casts into a wide fairway. the green is across the creek and elevated. Most of the greens are rectangular with the shallow part as your landing area. The greens did hold. #4 and #5 are along the river. #4 is a careful tee shot, a fad is the best. A pull is into the woods and a slice is into the water. #3 (par 3), #7 and #8 (par 3) are the only holes without water. From the gold back tees, its something like 3300 yards, par 35. I played the first round from the gold and the second round from the white. Nice fairways and very nice greens though a bit slow for me. I do like them fast. For $10 and $15 plus $10 for a cart, a nice afternoon round.

Now the RV Park-
We moved across the street to an old KOA park. Its called the A/OK RV Park. Full hookups with cable for $20.00 a night. Inquire in the office as they have wifi. The park is large and can handle 45foot rigs. They do have trees along the sides but not in the way. Picknick tables and grills and each site. Its located at the turn to the state park but further down on the right. It is not a resort. And the pool is not open yet. We are going to stay here and get our laundry done (there is a coin laundry in town), batteries watered, tires aired and the inside dusted. We need a wash but thats at another stop. With the oil changed in Moab, we will be ready to go, again.
