Green River, UT

We found a jewel here and we like it. We are at the Green River State Park, UT. Its a $15 a day for nothing. But its very nice in a cute little town with cheap gas and so far good food. We had Mexican food at Ben's in town. Having spent two days dry camped in Moab on the dirt, we are on asphalt with a table and green grass and a golf course. They have a dump station and water for the price or $5.00 if thats all you need. Cheap gas is $2.93.9 with diesel at $3.09.9. The rv is full at $2.97.9 but the suv will need a fill up. The station is in town, not at the interstate.

Right across the drive is the #4 fairway and the river is beyond that. This is a $10 a round for 9 holes. I've been told its a championship course but we will see. So far #4 has nice green grass. I will play the course tomorrow for sure. We have found some warmer and drier weather here. This Moab course was one I wanted to play but it rained the 3 days we were there.

There is an old KOA across from us we will move too in a couple of days. Its a $20.00 a day for full hookups and there is lots of room. We need the hookups for our laundry and to get water to clean the rv before we head out. More on the park later.

After much discussion, we have decided to head to Zion NP and skip Bryce NP. We are pretty full of rocks. Our thinking "stops" are BLM at Goblin Valley, Capitol Reef boondocking, Otter Creek , Zion NP (either north or south campground for our 36 foot). From there we will head north toward Boise, ID and then Yellowstone , in July, and be home around mid Sept.

Temp: 71* with sunny skies
Mileage: 67 from our last park
GPS: 38*59.297', 110*9.099', elevation 4100 feet
DW: 130*, 37*, -29*
DTV: zip code 84525
