Dry Camped in Moab, UT
Our rv space was for one night only and this morning we had to move. We are now in the overflow area boondocking. We are here because its raining and we can't go anywhere else. We did go and get the oil changed in the rv and suv this morning. Both were due. The cost came to nearly $90. We will probably have another oil change before we get back to home base. And we have wifi while we sit in the mud. No cable but the DTV will more than due. Our cost is $7.58.
We did go to the store and get our food for the next week. And we went to eat at the Branding Iron at the turn off from US191. The steak was the wrong cut, and cheap, and though it was marinated it was not very good. Shirley's chicken strips were good she said. They did serve plenty of food. Our bill was $25.65 plus tip. Go somewhere else for your steak.
We looked at another PA park and it was full. The other parks are $27-$30. Since we are good for 5 days boondocking, we will probably stay here tomorrow night too. As long as the generator usage is no more than 7 gallons of gas, we can park here.
From here we will make our way to Zion and Bryce NP. We have the month of May to get there. Then its all of June to either Boise, IZD or Yellowstone. From there its back to our home base in Sept.
