Contact Lens Update and Our Space
Our space here at the park we found. There are 20 spaces and they rent for 3 months minimum. This time will work out for us. So far we have been here for about 3 weeks. With the rv repairs it took that long plus the 2 weeks we were at the COE on Benbrook Lake. We are paying $225.00 plus electric. We pay the utility, TXU, direct. If you are going to near here for a 3 month or longer time period, stop by here and see if there are any spaces available. Right now there is only one open. We have gravel to park on, grass for the yard and trees for shade. Convenient to the super store, auto dealers, movie, gas, good food and for us, her parents. We had a visitor Sunday. This rabbit came calling next door and stayed. We have lots of birds and squirrels, our first rabbit. Hopefully there will be more.
I went to the OD today and we discussed my eyesight. With this second set of lenses I went from a 1-10 with 1 low. In the right eye I went from a 2 (first set of lenses) to a 5. In the left eye I went from a 9 to a 5. The first lenses were very thin. They folded with very little effort. The second set of lenses kept their shape much better. I tore the first lens set, but only one lens.
I will have a new set in about a week which is a third mfg. I have on the second right lens and the first right lens. But its different mfg. Hopefully this third set works for my vision. I am getting much better in handling the lens and putting them in. Getting them out is still a trial and error.
DW has not decided if she will keep her lens or try another method. she is in the bifocal now. This means that one lens is set for distance and one is set for closeup. She has on her second set of lenses and the second week. She prefers her "20 year old eyes".
