Deming, NM

We are at Dreamcatcher RV Park till Monday morning. We got here yesterday about 4:30 from Lovington, NM.

We went thru Hobbs to US180 and went thru Carlsbad, El Paso and Los Cruces, NM. Not alot to see that way. We did get pics of the highest point in Texas. See the US180 pic folder.

I played golf this morning and DW went to the state park for her outing. The golf course is still in winter but the greens were fast and difficult. The fairways were beginning to get some green. Nice course for $25.00; 18 holes and cart.

DW went to the Rockhound State Park. She said the trails were steep and difficult. She even got rain before I did. The wind outflow was cold. When the sun was out it was comfortable. Right now we are in a dust storm with sprinkles. The outflow is causing the dust to blow. The rain is somewhere but here. At times the mountains in the distance are totally obscured by the rain and dust.

Dreamcatcher is all gravel with a few trees but no grass. Full hookups with $.10 per kwh electric. Our club rate is $10.00 while the non club rate is $16.00. There is no wifi and no cable. Down the street is wifi and cable for $15.00. Seems the club could do a little price increase and add both. Instead its sell the wifi. I will ask about the cable to see what the answer is. And since they cant sell the wifi, free wifi from the hotels to close, there is non at all. I have a wifi finder that shows no hotel wifi at our space #42. There are several parks here much fuller than this one all offering wifi and cable. I will verify the "all" part.

Gas in Las Cruces was $2.46.9.

Come Monday its off again toward Utah. We got to plan a route.

GPS: 32*16.374, -107*42.683
DW: 130*, 44*, -34*, 48 with a passing 64
Mileage: 340 from Lovington, NM
Temp: 66 for the high, 53 in the rain and dust
