Just Where Have We Been
We are looking for thursday and friday to be better days. From all the conversation we are hearing, this is the second coldest winter since the freeze in '93. We are letting the rental golf cart go back. Can't justify the cost. We used it for two days in nearly two weeks.
We went out yesterday looking for some high density foam for our dinette seats. The upholstery shops here are either out of business or homes with one exception. The home based business are so run down. The one exception was a one guy operation and he was doing delivers so he was not there.
Today is tank dump day, cleaning the house, wash clothes, etc since its not the best of weather. Thursday and Friday are suppose to be better. Better days ahead, hopefully.

Looks like you've gotten some golf in...I really like that pond on the golf course that has the fountain...it's really pretty...
Here at Lake Menden...we have arrived to a "drought" winter...people here are praying for rain...the golfers are happy and the golf courses are rakeing in the $$$. But the ski slopes are starting to have a really bad time...and if they don't get more rain they will be in real drought summer...We are having mostly sunny days that warm up to between 65 and 70...so it has been nice for us.
We brought me a new BBQ grille .. (gas)I love it ...last night I was gonna broil some steakes, but Mike has been having some oral surgery so he can't really chew steak right now, so I made hot dogs and some homeade chili. The grille workes really nicely...
Can't wait to try something like a briskit or ribs...

what is the sun? forgot what it looks like and when it will come out. looks like it will be monday or tuesday. till then its low clouds, misty, and 55*.
the golf cart was 150 per month and 6 days of use isn't economical as I have to pay a "trail" fee of $7 per day too. cheaper to rent the cart.
anyway, glad you had a good time in AZ. wewill be there in March sometime. our first stop is to see my dad and how he is doing. a broken hip and a mild heart attack are not good. glad my brother is there to see after him
